Healthy Mango Ice Cream Recipe./Mango Dessert

Today I am posting a very simple mango ice cream recipe. It is sugar free and dairy free ice cream recipe. So it is nutritious and a diabetics can eat easily this ice cream. For controlling diabetes the diet should be focus on low carbohydrates. But the mangoes are high in carbohydrates. So you can eat moderate amount of mango ice cream in exchange of other sources of carbohydrates in your diet. Make this delicious ice cream at home without ice cream maker.

Preparation time – 10 minutes.    Serve – 4

Ingredients –

Ripe mango –  500 grams.

Instructions

Wash the mangoes. Soak in enough water for at least 30 minutes. Peel the skins off  and discard seed. Cut into small cubes. Put the mango cubes in a air tight container or zip pouch and freeze it for at least 3 hours. After 3 hours take out the container from the freezer. Separate the mango cubes and put them into a food processor . Continue to process until you get a nice texture.Scrape down the sides with a spoon and process it until soft/pulpy. You can use blender also.

Mango Ice Cream is ready. Scoop into a bowl and serve immediately. You can keep it in a freezer for later use. Enjoy.
