Quick Recipe——-Kachki Fish In Microwave

Today I am sharing with you a very simple fish dish recipe made with kachki mach. It is a quick recipe because I prepared this dish in microwave. It takes only  10 to 12 minutes. It is a dry dish, looks truly awesome and taste amazing. You can take it with roti/chapati but it goes well with plain steamed rice.

Cooking time – 10/12 minutes.  Serve – 4

Ingredients –

  1. Kachki fish – 250 grams.
  2. Onion (large) – 1 (chopped)
  3. Garlic cloves – 6
  4. Grated ginger – 1/2 tsp.
  5. Tomato (large) – 1 (chopped)
  6. Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp.
  7. Red chilly powder – 1/2 tsp.
  8. Cumin powder – 1/4 tsp.
  9. Coriander powder – 1/2 tsp.
  10. Salt to taste.
  11. Oil – 4 tbsp.
  12. Slit green chilly – 4.

Instructions –

Wash the fish very well with enough water. Keep in a colander. Using 1/2 cup of water grind onion,ginger,garlic,chilly,cumin,coriander and turmeric into a smooth pure. Put the masala pure in a mixing bowl. to this add salt and oil. Mix well. At last add the washed fish and slit green chilly.Mix well. Keep the fish mixture in a microwave safe dish. Microwave at high power for 10 to 12 minutes (stir 4 to 5 times in between).

Take out the dish from the microwave, garnish with chopped coriander leaves (optional) and serve hot with steamed rice.
