Bachelors Recipe——-Chicken Curry In 10 Minutes

Today I am posting a delicious Chicken Curry recipe in 10 minutes. It is a simple recipe, very quick and easy to prepare, but tastes awesome. It is a healthy dish, you need only 4 tbsp. of oil and little masalas. It can be served as a side dish with rice/roti/paratha. It is a perfect dish for Bachelors.

Cooking time – 10 minutes.  Serve – 4

Ingredients –

  1. Chicken – 1 k.g (curry cut)
  2. Onion – 250 grams.
  3. Garlic cloves – 8/10
  4. Grated ginger – 1 tsp.
  5. Tomato (large) – 1
  6. Bay leaves – 2
  7. Turmeric powder – 1 tsp.
  8. Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp.
  9. Chilly powder – 1 tsp.
  10. Garam masala powder – 1 tsp.
  11. Salt to taste.
  12. Oil – 4 tbsp.

And lemon juice – 3 tbsp.

Instructions –

Wash the chicken and pat dry, marinate with lemon juice. Cover and keep aside for 5 minutes. Using 1/2 cup of water grind onion,garlic,ginger,tomato and all the masala powders (turmeric,cumin,chilly,garam masala) into a smooth puree.  Now marinate the chicken with this puree, cover and keep aside until use.

Place a pressure cooker on medium heat, add oil. Once the oil is hot add the marinated chicken and salt. Stir and add 3 cups of water, mix well. Pressure cook on high heat for 3 to 4 minutes. Now reduce the heat, cook for 4 to 5 minutes. When the hissing sound coming from the cooker. turn off the flame and let it cool down naturally (do not take out the cooker from the hot gas stove).

Quick and healthy chicken Curry is ready, serve hot. ENJOY
