Today we are going to make a sweet – chocolate barfi. It is very delicious and quick and easy to prepare at home. It is a tasty and unique dessert for a party.
Cooking time – 40 minutes. Serve – 4
1.Khoya (milk solid) – 1 cup.
2.Coco powder – 1/2 cup.
3.Corn flour – 1 tbsp.
4.Sugar – 1/2 cup.
5.Butter – 50 grams.
6.Milk – 11/4 cups.
7.Raisins/Cashew – For garnishing.
1.Dissolve corn flour in 1/4 cup of cold milk, keep aside. Grease a tray with butter.
2.Blend khoya, coco powder, sugar with 1 cup of milk. Transfer the mixture to a non-stick frying pan.Add butter and corn flour milk and cook on slow flame with continuous stirring. When the mixture becomes thick and leaves the sides of the pan remove pan from heat and pour the mixture into the greased tray.
3.When it is cool keep in refrigerator for 1 hour. After it sets cut in square shape. Garnish with raisins/cashew and enjoy the sweet any time of the day.
