Vegetarian French Toast / Chocolate French Toast toast / Sweet French Toast

Hi friends,
My today’s recipe is sweet French toast – a healthy veg. recipe made with bread & chocolate. It is very tasty and easy to make.

Cooking time – 20 minutes. Serve – 4
Ingredients –
1.Bread – 8 slices.
2.Milk – 1 cup.
3.Corn flour – 1 tbsp.
4.Vanilla – 1 tsp.
5.Sugar – 1 tsp.
6.Butter / oil – 4 tbsp.
7.Chocolate – 200 grams.
8.Hung curd – 2 tbsp.
Hung curd means well drained curd.
Preparing hung curd – Take a clean muslin/cotton(thin) cloth and keep it on a strainer. Put the curd in it. Place a bowl under the strainer to collect the whey. Keep the curd with strainer and bowl in a fridge for 4-5 hours. Hung curd is ready to use.
Cooking method –
1.Great the chocolate using a grater and keep it in a bowl.
2.Take hung curd in a large bowl, beat well. Add corn flour,sugar,vanilla and milk. Whisk well to make a smooth batter.
3.Take one slice of bread, spread 1 tbsp. of grated chocolate evenly and add the another slice to make it a sandwich. Keep it on a plate.Follow the same process with rest of the breads.
4.Melt 1 tbsp.of butter in a non-stick frying pan,dip one sandwich in the curd mixture and transfer it to the frying pan. Fry on medium flame until bottom is golden brown. Turn and brown the other side.Repeat the same process with all the chocolate stuffed breads.
Sweet French toast is ready to serve. Garnish with grated chocolate on top.
